POST DETAILS:
A temporary Lunchtime Supervisor is required to start on 19 April 2022 (or earlier) until 21 July 2022 to join our experienced team who are responsible for supervising children and leading play activities during the lunchtime break. Including setting up and tidying away equipment before and after lunch. Hours of work are 1.5 hour per day over the lunchtime period 11:45am–1:15pm.
You must be able to work well as part of a hard-working team and be able to work on your own initiative, to ensure that the children are safe and to maintain excellent standards of behaviour. Good verbal communication skills are essential for this role in order to liaise with children and other staff members. The successful candidate will need to be reliable and dedicated and to contribute to the development of a positive approach to lunchtime play; organise and take part in activities with children over the lunchtime period; supervise pupils immediately before, during and after the midday meal. Applicants should be willing to join in games, oversee quiet activities and supervise children having free play in the school playground.
