LENTEN MEETINGS:

Kiveton: The Ecumenical Lenten Group continues to meet at 7pm on Thursdays as follows: 16th March - St.Peter’s, Thorpe Salvin; 23rd March - Wales Methodist and on 30th March - St John the Baptist, Wales.

Dinnington: Local Anglican Churches are running a Lenten Course with a focus on the classic film ‘Casablanca’. Each session is a mix of film clips, bible study and reflection and continues on Wednesdays at 7.30pm as follows: St. George’s - Woodsetts, 15th March, “We’ll always have Paris”. South Anston Methodist Church, 22nd March, “I stick my neck out for nobody”. St Leonard’s - Dinnington, 29th March, “Welcome back to the fight”.

HALLAM YOUTH – Lourdes Young people travel with their school groups but this year places are available for young people aged 16+ in parishes, who do not attend Catholic schools, who wish to join Hallam Youth on the diocesan pilgrimage. Email smcdonald@hallam-diocese.com for details.

SYNOD NEXT STEPS IN HALLAM: Saturday 25th March at Blessed Trinity, Wickersley, 10.00-2.00. “You’ve read the Continental Srage Document, yopu’ve thought about it, you’ve responded to it, lets get together and hear from each other about how synodality is developing in your parish. The event is free but partici[ants should bring their own packed lunch. Bookings can be made on the Formation and Mission Eventbrite page. See link below.


THE POPE’S INTENTIONS FOR MARCH: For victims of abuse We pray for those who have suffered harm from members of the Church; may they find within the Church herself a concrete response to their pain and suffering.
