RIP FR. PAT O’CONNOR: It is with sadness that we learn of the death of Father Pat. Many of us will have fond memories of him on Lourdes Pilgrimages which he directed for many years. The Diocese has published the arrangements for his funeral which are as follows:
Reception of the body: Tuesday 27th June, 6.00pm, at English Martyrs, Mexborough
Requiem Mass: Wednesday 28th June, 11.00am, at St Mary’s, Edlington
May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace.
LECTIO DIVINA: The next meeting of the Ecumenical group is on Thursday 29th June at 7pm at St Peter’s Church, Thorpe Salvin. All welcome.

St Wilfrid's Centre are delighted to have the amazing Sheffield Folk Chorale performing to raise funds for the Centre. The performance will be at Mother of God Church on Abbeydale Road. A large group of around 60 people make up the choir and it's sure to be a very memorable evening. Please come along and join us. AN OPPORTUNITY TO DEEPEN YOUR FAITH AND RESPOND TO YOUR BAPTISMAL CALLING: The diocese is looking for participants to join the Loyola University Certificate in Pastoral Ministry which begins in September. The customized certificate consists of ten six-week modules delivered in an online format allowing participants the freedom and flexibility of study in their own home. Participants need to be serious about their own faith development, willing to serve in the local church and have competent computer skills. There will be an informal hybrid meeting for anyone who would like more information at the Hallam Pastoral Centre on 4 July at 7:00 PM.
