PARISH PRAYER FOR THE WEEK: We pray for our community; that the Lord will give us the grace to treasure and ponder his word and respond generously to his call, following the example of Mary. Lord, in your mercy...
FATHER ANDY WRITES: I hope you all had a joyful Christmas. Thank you for the cards and grifts I received and thank you to all who helped with our Christmas celebrations: Anna, Siobhan and Phil for the beautiful carols evening, the Bereavement Group for the lovely Service of Light, Glen and Mary for our wonderful Nativity scene, the beautiful church flowers, Kevin for keeping us all warm and to all involved in services and Masses. I wish you all a very happy, prosperous and peaceful New Year. Andy.
MARY’S MEALS AND SAT 7: Thank you to the parish for donating and signing the cards on the trees in both churches. Shauna has sent £240 on behalf of the parish to Mary’s Meals, this will double up to £480. Mary’s meals feeds poor children all around the world. Máine has sent £100 to Sat 7 which provides Christian TV to countries that cannot celebrate Christmas openly so thank you to everyone for your generosity.
