CAFOD: WALK AGAINST HUNGER LENT 2022

Please join Fr Andy in the CAFOD Walk Against Hunger. Chris Parrott has joined him and has created a St. Joseph’s Dinnington Team, the more people who join us the more money we can raise! The money will help provide food, seeds, nutrition and health care classes for new parents and training in healthcare, hygiene and proper sanitation all by doing 5km (3 miles) a day for 40 days during Lent. Or if that’s too much you can join the Parish Community 5km Walk Against Hunger on Sun March 20th

Food is vital and we take it for granted, please help! Join the Parish CAFOD Walk Against Hunger team, or join the Parish Walk, tell your friends and family and start getting sponsors. The money can be collected by a Just Giving link or you can get a paper sponsor form and collect the money in the conventional way.

The Governors of St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School are looking to appoint an experienced Level 3 TA. The successful applicant will initially work 1:1 with children with SEND or with small groups across school. This role involves working with the SENCo and teachers to plan provision to provide classroom and intervention support for individual children with specific needs.

MOUNT ST MARY’S. BALBOROUGH HALL

Multi Sports Coach

Working Pattern:

30 hours per week Term Time plus 1 additional weeks. (36 weeks per year)

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – 10:00am to 5:45pm

Wednesday – 1:30pm to 5:45pm

Saturday working will be required when there are fixtures (120 hours across the academic year – typically 4 hours per Saturday)

Salary:

£24,960 (full time equivalent salary)

£15,144 actual salary per annum

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Multi-Sports Coach to join our Games department from 31st August 2022. The Multi-Sports coach role will lead and deliver a quality Sports program including preparation and maintenance of resources, materials and providing support to staff and pupils. We are particularly keen to hear from Rugby coaches!

The Role

You will coach across the whole age range and abilities of sports at the Mount and Barlborough Hall School. Multi sports coaches are responsible for Motivating, inspiring and challenging pupils to achieve their full potential including providing abler pupils with appropriate challenges and targets.

Other duties will include:

• Plan, organise, lead and deliver high quality Sports across both Schools.

• Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment for sports sessions.

• Develop the Health and Fitness of pupils to support improvement to their performance.

• Work with Scholars to support their development, and contribute to their monitoring, assessment and coaching.

• Manage sports teams effectively with appropriate use of sanctions and rewards in accordance with departmental and school policies.

• Be responsible for the competitive development of teams and ensure that pupils play sports with enjoyment and good sportsmanship.

• Ensure the Health and Safety and good behaviour of pupils at all times.

• Assist with planning of sporting events and fixtures, under the direction of the Heads of Sport, including but not limited to, travel arrangements, accommodation, tournaments, and any other associated administrative tasks.

You

You will have good sports coaching skills in at least 2 sports, with a level 2 Rugby qualification as a minimum and a relevant coaching qualification or equivalent experience of coaching.

You will be self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative. As a strong communicator you willuse creative approaches to motivating young people encouraging good sportsmanship.

Previous work with young people is advantageous but you must have good understanding of how children and young people learn. You must also be IT literate and have good written English.
