Oh my Jesus, I believe that you are present in this Holy Sacrament of the altar.

SYNOD 2021 – 2023: An Invitation to respond to Pope Francis

“I dream of a ‘missionary option’, that is, a missionary impulse capable of transforming everything, so that the Church’s customs, ways of doing things, times and schedules, language and structures can be suitably channelled for the evangelization of today’s world rather than for her self-preservation” Pope Francis (Evangelii Guadium n.27).

What do we need to transform in our parish community? We are approaching the final phases of the synod process within the Diocese with only 9 weeks to submit our responses after the Christmas Holiday. Make sure that your voice is heard by either joining the discussion in our parish or going along to one of the open meetings in either Wickersley on 22 January or Sheffield on 5 February 2022 10:00-12:30. Book on Eventbrite. Additionally, make sure you submit your response in the questionnaire included with the Christmas issue of the Hallam News or via the Synod pages of the Diocesan Website www.hallam-diocese/synod. The deadline for responses is 7 March 2022
