LITURGY MEETING:

A Liturgy meeting will be held on Tuesday 21st July at St Joseph’s at 7.00pm to begin the process of increasing our understanding of Liturgy and how the Parish can deliver a uniform approach to it. Parishioners in both Churches are doing a sterling job but there is scope for improvements. One example of this would be: do groups review what is happening or what has already happened and learn and improve. Another example would be how can the Parish increase participation to enhance the Liturgy further and increase ownership of it. All Parishioners are welcome: those who lead a ministry in Church already; those who are active as a minister eg readers; those who would like to increase their understanding and realise that they can participate. In particular the meeting is for new comers to our parish who may already have these skills or wish to know more.

LOURDES COFFEE MORNING:

Come along to our coffee morning and raffle  on Friday 3st July,  11am-1pm in the parish room at St. Joseph’s.  Everyone is most welcome and all proceeds are in aid of the  parish’s Lourdes Fund.  Please support this good cause if you can.

DIGITAL GIVING:

Hopefully you have seen the credit card reader which has recently been installed at the back of St Joseph’s church. Sadly there was a small deficit last year in our parish funds and therefore it needs to be as easy as possible for parishioners to contribute to our parish.

There are now two new ways of cashless giving

      1.    It’s very easy to use the card reader at the back of church, clear instructions are

           with the machine,

OR

      2.    You can use the QR code in church and on the website, just scan the code and

           follow the simple instructions

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR SICK: George Blow and his grandma;  Victoria Broughton; Christopher Browne;  Jim Chandler;   Sam Cleasby;  Dave Collins; Betty Delaney;  Barbara Dexter;  Pat Duffin;  Kitty Finnerty;   Gillian Gee;  Robert Hume;   Sophie Hughes;  Jed Krotki;  Kumba;  Dominic Lear;  Isabel Main-Reade;  Haylen Markillie;  Charlie Massarella;   Emma Pearson (Glen’s daughter);  Janet Reilly; Annie Reynolds;  Maria Senogles;  Judith Sherratt;  Sandra Sherratt;   Glen Stevens; Margaret Tyler;  Paula Weeks and Teresa Williams.
