RETIRING COLLECTIONS:

The weekend of 14/15 March for ‘Life’ which has been offering practical help and support for well over half a century. And for many of those years we, the people of our Diocese, have given generously to support the work of Life and we are asked to do so again this year. The need has not diminished. If anything, it has increased. In the context of the more liberal availability of abortion, Life continues to focus on practical support for women - ranging from counselling, to housing, and life-skills training. Life helps to offer positive alternatives to abortion; solutions to difficult problems when so many people do not seem to know that they are possible and available.

Life also helps those who have experienced the loss of a baby in any circumstances to cope with their loss. The Life way is always a compassionate way, grounded on the value of the unborn child and in solidarity with the pregnant woman.

Life’s contact details are: lifecharity.org.uk   Tel: 0808 802 5433

           follow the simple instructions

PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR SICK: George Blow and his grandma;  Victoria Broughton; Christopher Browne;  Jim Chandler;   Sam Cleasby;  Betty Delaney;  Barbara Dexter;  Pat Duffin;  Kitty Finnerty;   Gillian Gee;  Robert Hume;   Sophie Hughes;  Jed Krotki;  Kumba;  Isabel Main-Reade;  Haylen Markillie;  Charlie Massarella;   Emma Pearson (Glen’s daughter);  Janet Reilly; Annie Reynolds;  Maria Senogles;  Judith Sherratt;  Sandra Sherratt;   Margaret Tyler;  Pat Vickers;  and Teresa Williams.
