PARISH PRAYER FOR THE WEEK:
We pray for our world; that Christ, the Prince of Peace and King of Love, may turn hearts from violence and open new opportunities for encounter and understanding.
Lord, in your mercy....
(CAFOD Weekly prayers of intercession)
THE POPE’S INTENTION FOR NOVEMBER: For the prevention of suicide
Let us pray that those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts might find the support, care, and love they need in their community, and be open to the beauty of life.
A PRAYER FOR VOLUNTEERS FROM BISHOP RALPH:
Blessed is the one who arrives early and the one who leaves last, who unlocks, tidies, and makes room for grace.
Blessed are the altar servers, steady and reverent, who carry light and the cross with quiet pride.
Blessed are the readers and musicians, whose voices help the Word take root and whose songs lift our prayers higher.
Blessed are the welcomes and hosts who make strangers feel known and the weary feel at home.
Blessed are those who bring food to the lonely, who make tea for the grieving, who stop what they’re doing long enough to really listen.
Blessed are the ones who serve and think no one ever notices. The ones who fix, fold, drive and comfort and never seek a thank you.
Blessed are you who build the kingdom one small act of love at a time. For through hands like yours, God’s heart is made visible.
And blessed are we, to be in your company.

THANK YOU:
Last Wednesday evening, St. Peter’s Church in Doncaster hosted a moving Service of Thanksgiving and Celebration to mark the successful completion of the first ever Diocesan Cycling Pilgrimage. The event brought together parishioners, charity representatives, and supporters, highlighting a spirit of unity and partnership.
During the service, representatives from ‘Bluebell Wood Hospice’ and ‘Let the Children Live’ charities were each presented with a cheque for £1,250. These donations were raised from the proceeds of the pilgrimage and will go towards supporting the vital work carried out by both organisations.
The event was made possible through the enthusiastic support of parishioners, who not only contributed £340 towards charitable causes but also submitted a total of 76 petitions. These petitions were offered up during a special Mass celebrated at the Church of the Annunciation in Walsingham.
An enormous thank you to all who contributed to the success of the Diocesan Cycling Pilgrimage. The event stands as a testament to the compassion, faith, and dedication of our unique parish community

Hopefully you have seen the credit card reader which has recently been installed at the back of St Joseph’s church. Sadly there was a small deficit last year in our parish funds and therefore it needs to be as easy as possible for parishioners to contribute to our parish.

1. It’s very easy to use the card reader at the back of church, clear instructions are with the machine,
OR
2. You can use the QR code in church and on the website, just scan the code and follow the simple instructions
