RETIRING COLLECTION: Shauna Hilton will be making an appeal on behalf of LEPRA at Masses this weekend followed by a second collection at both churches to support the charity.
COMMUNION WINE: As of 5th February we will be re-introducing the opportunity for people at the Dinnington Sunday Mass to participate in the taking of wine (the Blood of Christ). The wine will be distributed in “individual” goblet containers. Our Kiveton church has been doing this for a few months and has come up with a process that is safe for all. We will be explaining this process in more detail nearer the time but please be assured that the Reflection Group have discussed this issue in great detail and is agreed that we can now safely bring back the wine into our Mass.
FIRST COMMUNION PREPARATION MEETING: The next meeting is on Thursday 2nd Feb. 6:30-7:30 in the parish rooms.
LENTEN DAY OF REFLECTION: Fr Dennis McBride CSsR will be leading a day of reflection on Saturday 4th March at Whirlow Grange Spirituality Centre, Sheffield 10-4.
