3.00 pm CELEBRATION OF THE LORDS PASSION AND DEATH
The second act of our ‘Triduum’ focuses on the Passion and Death of Jesus- not in a mourning way, but seeing the Cross of Christ as a victory over death, which promises new life.
In this celebration of the Passion and Death of Jesus Christ
a) we listen to the words of Scripture as told by our readers to help us to understand the sufferings of Jesus
b) we pray for the needs of the whole world
c) we walk with Jesus on his final journey in the Stations of the Cross
d) we worship the Cross as a symbol of his triumph
e) we receive Holy Communion
