PARISH PRAYER FOR THE WEEK:    We pray for our world and for all who suffer because of conflict and injustice; may the Spirit renew the face of the earth.

Lord, in your mercy…..

(CAFOD weekly prayers of intercession)

THE POPE’S INTENTION FOR  MAY:  That everyone might have food

Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food, and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.

LIVE SIMPLY MAY :   David Attenborough is 100 years old this month. He has brought the natural world into our homes and alerted us to climate change, plastic pollution, and the need for conservation. He has given us a sense of awe and wonder of the beauty of creation. We pray that we can continue his work.
