COFFEE AFTERNOON: It was so lovely to see so many happy faces at the coffee afternoon. Thank you to all the helpers, providing beautiful refreshments, decorating all the tables and helping out in many ways. The next Coffee afternoon is December the 6th.

Please come along in December and meet old and new friends.

We will remember and give thanks for our deceased family and friends who have enriched our lives.


LIVE SIMPLY AWARD PRESENTATION AND CELEBRATION

The Live Simply Award will be presented to the parish on Sunday 19th November at the 9.30 mass followed by a celebration party in the parish rooms with a shared table. Both St. Joseph’s and Blessed William Richardson communities will receive a certificate and a plaque.

The Award is for the whole parish so please come and celebrate our wonderful achievement.


LOST CHORD: The next welcoming and uplifting interactive dementia friendly community music session takes place at Wales Methodist Church 12 -2pm on Thursday 9th November.

Soup and sandwiches served. All welcome.


BELONG RETREAT: Saturday 18th November, 10am - 10pm, St Vincent’s Mission Hub in collaboration with Youth 2000, open to anyone aged 16-35.

This will be a day of fun, friendship and faith as we accept the Lord’s invitation to BELONG in His kingdom and find hope, joy and peace through Him. Tickets available via the QR code on the poster or at www.youth2000.org/events/belongretreat. Tickets are limited so please book early!“


DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES:- Friday 28th June – 4th July 2024

Bishop Ralph invites you to join him on the 2024 Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. Booking forms available to download at www.hallam-lourdes.com. Enquiries 01302 247910 or 07724 650066.

Fare £879pp - 6 nights Full Board (excl. Ins.) flying from Leeds Bradford Airport direct to Lourdes. Applications are particularly welcome from pilgrims who need help due to medical issues/mobility. Volunteer doctors, nurses and helpers are also required.

HALLAM YOUTH – LOURDES: Details are available through each diocesan High School for young people to travel with their school groups. Young people aged 16-18 in parishes, who do not attend Catholic schools, and wish to join Hallam Youth on the diocesan pilgrimage please email


ST WILFRID'S CENTRE: A Christmas Fayre & Evening for Friends and Supporters

Thursday 9th November 5-7pm

Christmas cards, nativity sets and other items are also available from our website.

Also: St Wilfrid's Centre Christmas Concert December 13th at 7pm. A mix of Christmas Carols for everyone to join in with and a number of songs to listen to, performed by Sheffield Folk Chorale. Ticket numbers are limited and we know that diaries get full in December so we are letting you know early so that you can book your tickets. All the money raised will go to support our work with vulnerable, isolated and homeless adults across the whole of South Yorkshire.
