LASZLO (LES) SAFRANY RIP: Les died on 7th April and is now reunited with his beloved wife Elizabeth who died in January. Les' funeral service will be here at St Joseph's on Tuesday 23rd April at 10am and afterwards at Babworth Crematorium. We keep Steve, Fiona and all the family in our thoughts and prayers at this very sad time.
ANNOUNCEMENT OF DEATHS: We have sadly learned of the deaths of two parishioners. Maureen Appley died during the night on Wednesday. We pray for Helen and the family. Also Paul Cummins who died on the 13th of April aged 56. We pray for Julie and Sarah, Paul’s sisters and the family. Funeral arrangements for both have not yet been announced. Rest In Peace.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER IN SUPPORT OF SURVIVORS OF ABUSE: Bishop Ralph Heskett will be leading a service at the parish hall of St Michael and All Angels Wombwell on Tuesday 30th April at 7-00pm. The service is for all parishioners, volunteers, clergy and curia staff to attend. The key element of the service is for the church to unite as one to show survivors that we stand beside them and offer our love, care and support in their healing. Steel City Choristers will provide lovingly prepared songs during the service.
