THE POPE’S INTENTION FOR APRIL:  For the role of women

We pray that the dignity and immense value of women be recognized in every culture, and for the end of discrimination that they experience in different parts of the world.

RETIRING COLLECTIONSS: There will be a second collection for Easter flowers at St Joseph’s Church this Sunday.

The totals for the Easter weekend extra collections were as follows:-

 Maundy Thursday for  PACT:  £213.41

 Good Friday for the HOLY PLACES:  £138.65

 Easter Weekend for CANCER CHARITIES:  £294.45


FIRST COMMUNION CHILDREN: On Monday 8th April  a Games night is being held for our first communion children in the parish rooms at 6:30pm.


YOUTH AND FAMILIES EVENT:  Saturday 13th April at St. Joseph’s Church. kicking off at 1pm. Look out for the poster for  more details!

 

SOUP AND SONG:   The next Lost Chord singalong session at Wales Methodist church is  Thursday 11th April at  12 noon.


COFFEE AFTERNOON:  Please note that there is no Coffee Afternoon in April. The next coffee afternoon is May  1st.

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES:- Friday 28th June – 4th July 2024

Have you considered travelling on the Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes in this Year of Prayer?  All are very welcome to join Bishop Ralph, clergy and parishioners from around the diocese on the 2024 Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes.  The organisers ask anyone who is interested to send their Booking Forms in as soon as possible so that plans can be made.  Any outstanding information can follow later.  Booking forms available to download at www.hallam-lourdes.com . HALLAM YOUTH: Hallam Youth are taking a group of young people to World Youth Day, Lisbon in August. A parishioner has very kindly offered to do the 3 peaks challenge to help us raise money.
