What is present to me is what has a hold on my becoming. I reflect on the Presence of God always there in love, amidst the many things that have a hold on me. I pause and pray that I may let God

affect my becoming in this precise moment.

MARY’S MEALS AND LIVING SIMPLY CHRISTMAS TREE: We have a Christmas tree at the back of church and lots of cards with string. If anyone would like to put their name on a card and wish the parish Happy Christmas please write your name on the card and hang it on the tree. This is certainly part of Living simply. A donation box is at the side for any donations to Marys Meals and a sponsor is going to treble the money collected for the charity.


SOCIAL EVENING: Tuesday 20th December in the parish rooms after the evening Mass, shared table. Contact Shauna for any details.


ECHOES OF ANGELS: After numerous requests Echoes of Angels (Siobhan, Anna & Phil) have recorded a Christmas Carols CD, for which we are taking orders.There will be approx 18 tracks and it will be priced at £5. People can contact us to place their orders.

HALLAM BRIDGE: This is a new venture of the Diocese which replaces the old ‘Hallam News’ and provides a link between the Diocese and all the parishes to bring articles, items dealing with the way in which people are journeying together in faith throughout Hallam, news items and up-coming events.

The Hallam Bridge will be available from this Sunday through the Diocesan website either via the link on the Home page or directly at https://hallam-diocese.com/bridge/ It is also available via the link as a printable PDF version. You can also subscribe for an email copy to be sent direct to your inbox. The form enabling this is on the Hallam Bridge website.

FRIENDS OF THE HOLY LAND: This registered charity supports the most needy Christian families in the Holy Land with their daily needs.
